Took over Brattfors 1:1 after his father in 1946 together with his brother Allan Jonsson. Allan Jonsson passed away 1965 and Almar Jonsson then took over all of Brattfors. Moved to Hällaström the same year because of the construction of the powerplant in Hällby still owning Brattfors. Brattfors was built in 1893, probably by Sandö sågverk AB (sawmill company) or by Strömnäs (forest company).
